There can be many symptoms of a bad inlet valve on your pump. The most common of which is difficulty priming your pump. Replace it with a new Graco quality inlet valve. Inlet valves are a wear item and replacement is recommended for regular pump maintenance. Don't overlook the outlet valve (#243094) as these are also wear items and can also cause pressure and prime problems.
Always check your manual for your application!
Applications:
Graco Magnum XR-5 w/ hose barb inlet.
Graco Magnum XR-7 w/ hose barb inlet.
Graco Magnum XR-9 w/ hose barb inlet.
Note: ALWAYS check your manual for proper applications. This inlet valve only works on the XR-5, XR-7, and XR-9's that have a tubing on the siphon hose to connect to the "hose Barb" on the valve. If your machine has a threaded 1/2" NPT on the inlet hose which threads on to the inlet valve, use part number 243093 (243-093)
